Obama in Turkey

The Presidency Plane Air Force One touched down in Ankara around 9.30pm with Barack Hussein Obama, who urged the EU to accept Turkey as full member, when he was in Prague. This trip of Obama's is the first time he arrived to a majority Muslim country since his inauguration. He is expected to meet with President Abdullah Gül, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan besides the Parliament Speaker Köksal Toptan in accompanience of party leaders and finally he will address to the Turkish Parliament.

The agenda of the visit is expected to be mainly about the Middle East Region. It is supposed to be composed of the U.S.-Turkey bilateral relations, Iraq issue, terror, Afghanistan, Palestine-Israel, Iran, Syria, the recent developments regarding NATO, and perhaps global crisis, energy lines, Cyprus, EU and Turkey's EU membership.

I wonder about Obama's speech to the people after he realizes all the planned meetings.
